| Directions to Cortijo Mar, Puerto Calero from airport. Please familiarise yourself with these instructions before starting your journey. When leaving the airport follow sign for Yaiza and pass under the bridge. Leave slip road and merge on to dual carriageway giving way to traffic approaching from the left. Continue following signs for Yaiza and Playa Blanca – the number of the road is lz2. This dual carriageway goes uphill, passing an “spl” petrol station on both sides of the road. Continue on this road lz 2 following Yaiza and Playa Blanca signs. The dual carriageway will reduce to a single lane. Continue along the lz 2 passing through Macher. At the Macher roundabout continue on the lz 2. At the Puerto Calero roundabout take the exit on the left (3rd exit). Continue to the bottom of this road for approximately 2km, you will be travelling downhill with the sea visible in front if you are travelling in daylight. At the roundabout at the bottom, which has a sculpture of a sailing boat in the middle, take the first exit on the right into Puerto Calero. Follow this road to the end. You will come to a 't' junction with the hotel Iberostar in front. Turn right. Continue along this road (following signs to the ´Hesperia´ hotel) After approximately 2 km you will pass the hotel on your right. Drive past the hotel and you will see a car park on the right. The villas are painted white with blue trim. Remember always carry your driving licence and passport in the car with you. Wear your seat belts and stick to speed restrictions. |
